Silver Slipper Casino Recognized for Community Support by
City of Slidell

Hancock County –January, 22, 2010 – Silver Slipper Casino was presented a Certificate of Appreciation by
Slidell Mayor Ben Morris, January 14, during a Player Appreciation Party hosted by Slipper executives at
Nathan’s Restaurant in Slidell, Louisiana.  John N. Ferrucci, COO & General Manager of Silver Slipper Casino accepted the prestigious award. “What makes this recognition so special for us at the Slipper is that, in this challenging economic environment, our available community funds are limited, more than usual,
which prevents us from being as involved as much as we would like throughout our community,” said Ferrucci. “The fact that the City of Slidell has made the effort to acknowledge our efforts makes us very
proud and validates our commitment to being not just a good corporate citizen, but an actively involved
member of the community.

The certificate read “For your continued support of cultural, humanitarian and civic programs throughout
the City of Slidell and St. Tammany Parish.  Your extraordinary corporate partnership and philanthropic
spirit are greatly appreciated by the many citizens whose lives have been enhanced as a result of your presence in our community.”
